Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships: apply to come to Swansea!

This is an invitation to apply for the Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship Scheme for a postdoc position based at Swansea.

We would welcome anybody whose research complements research interests of one or more colleagues.

Our research strengths are in: Greek and Latin Literature; Greek and Roman History and Archaeology; the Archaeology, History and Culture of Egypt and Nubia; Ancient Philosophy; Cultural Property Protection in Conflict Zones.

Research Centres: OLCAP (object- and landscape-based approaches to the past), KYKNOS (Greek and Roman narrative literature) and CHART (Heritage research).

Collaboration: We benefit from collaboration with our museum on campus, the Egypt Centre.

Context: We are part of a department of History, Heritage and Classics; the School of Culture and Communication, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
